Beautiful! Three buttons definitely work better than two and I really like your collarless version! *^v^*

Lilly it looks WONDERFUL!!

It fits you perfectly!! What size did you make again!?

Thanks so much for sharing on the KAL!

I made smallest size, but my breast is 36 in, so the cardy is like a bit small... ;) that's way it fits perfectly ;D !

Whaaaa... Your Belle is really gorgeous and remains the one I prefer. Congratulations, it's been a great work and you can be proud.

It's a piece of art! It makes me want to try my hand on cables. It's perfect in everyway. Too bad it's not mine :(

Thank you all!
It's not perfect but I 'm almost happy with the look.
It was good knitting experience.

Fantastic work! I love what you did around the neck and the sleeves.

It looks fabulous!! Thank you for the sizing information as I'm a 34" bust and was wondering if the small would be too small. I think based on your comment I will feel confident about making the small now. How many skeins of yarn did you use?

Lillysmuul said...

12 and half skeins of Debbie Bliss'es Cashmerino aran.

I look at all the cables and think, "Wow!" And it fits very well (no, not too small - figure hugging, which is good ;) )

It looks great. I just finished mine, too. I thought this was a fun project. Good Job!

Your Silver Belle is so beautiful !!! I like the modifications you've made and it gives me inspiration for my Belle on the french knitalong !

how did you alter the pattern at the neckline - it looks great?!

I'm a beginner knitter, and I think this is absolutely the most stunning sweater I've seen! Reading about needle-less cables in your postings makes me think I could possibly do this!!! :D

That is just gorgeous. Fantastic job.

I've completed my "Belle" except for the neckline. How did you do the cable around the neck? Please help!

Lillysmuul said...

Hi Shanna!
I just made separate cable with side stitches and sew it on as I was knitting.
This way you know stright away how long cable to make.
