Knooking ehk kudumine heegeldajatele

Inimene õpib kogu elu.
 Leidsin sellise huvitava tehnika nagu "knooking" ehk knitting with hook. Maakeeli heegelnõelaga kudumine. Sobib heegeldajatele, kes arvavad, et ei saa kudumisega hakkama.
 Põhimõte on täpselt sama nagu kudumisel.

Ostsin millalgi ilusat laimirohelist DROPS Alpacat kroogitud passega sviitri jaoks DROPS 119-2

Aga kuna tahtsin teha ühekordse lõngaga, mitte kahekordse, siis jäi kude hõre ja kudum seisma.

Aga kui nägin Facebooki grupis DROPS ♥ Lace! ilusat pitsilist heegeldatud jakki, siis otsisin lõnga uuesti välja.

Every Easter DROPS Design has new patterns coming for Easter:

Easter Calendar and Easter workshop.

Lots of cute chicks and socks and decorations....

Last year I made lovely oversized Easter Bunny.
This year decided to do same with little cute chick.

Pattern Crochet DROPS Easter chicken in "Paris". 

I used double yarn and 5 mm crochet hook.

Middle of work decided to leave chick empty, so I can use it as crochet hook holder.

Kuna 1 õige käsitööline teeb ikka mingeid pühadekaunistusi, siis otsustasin seekord heegeldada ka ühe tibukese. Aga lõnga võtsin kahekordselt ja heegelnõel oli 5 mm.

Juhend ikka DROPS Designilt: Heegeldatud DROPSi lihavõtte tibu lõngast "Paris".

Poole heegeldamise pealt otsustasin tibu täitmata jätta, kuna seisis kenasti püsti ja nüüd saab kasutatada seda hoopis heegelnõelte hoidjana.
Vajadusel panen sisse klaastopsi raskuseks.

Crochet Easter Bunny / Heegeldatud kevadejänku

Kuna kudumine ei edene viimasel ajal, siis võtsin vahelduseks ette kiire heegeldamiseprojekti.
Juhendi leiad: DROPS Design 0-766, lõngaks oli mul jäme akrüül, heegelnõel 8 mm.
Muudatused: mõnus kohev korralik tõeline jänesesaba. Nagu peab olema. ;)
Ja muidugi kelmikas keerusall (mille õpetus on ka Dropsi videode lehel), nagu preilidele meeldib.

Since my knitting projects doesn't progress anywhere, decided do to little bit crocheting for a change.

I would like to introduce my new friend Bunny Rabbit-girl  Jutaliine.
She is very elegant and soft and has really lovely personality.

Pattern DROPS Design 0-766, but I used much chunkier yarn (similar to Drops Eskimo) and crochet hook 8 mm (6 mm for ears and scarf).
Tutorial for scarf is also from Garnstudio Crochet cork screw / spiral.
Also rabbit tail must be big and fluffy! ;)

Crochet toy for Charity and Vest

This lovely "Fabulous animal" is made for children in one Estonian Children's Hospital.
I used 100% pure silk and pattern is form Garnstudio of course.

It's silky, it's soft (not like some cotton yarns), it comes in beautiful colors.

Estonian cartoon.
Somewhere in Europe by a great sea stands a small village, where inventing all manner of domestic gadgets is held in great esteem. The villagers organize an annual competition of new inventions. One of the best inventors in the village is Oskar, the father of the energetic girl dog Lotte. His primary rival is Adalbert the Rabbit. Victory in this competition is very important as it would bring honor to the entire family.

Crochet summer top.

Many summers I have been dreaming about beautiful lace summer top .

And now felt like making one.

For thread bought thinnest yarn available in our local yarnshop.
It's Wendy Supreme Cotton 4 ply.

Pattern is mix of two . 1 & 2
Also had to make upperpart bigger to hide everything what must not be seen!

It was really easy to make and now feel like doing some more crochet , maybe for my little girl.

Kuna ilmad olid niiiiiii palavaks läinud ,oli ju minulgi vaja endale heegeldada imeilus valge pits top.


Kaevasin end rõõmsalt Rohelise (IT kuldne liige) neti varamusse ja sealt ta leidsingi.

Muster on kombineeritud kahest kokku st. yhest ylaosa ,mida muutsin suuremaks vastavalt oma rinnapartiile ja alumine osa teisest mustrist.
Tegelt tahtsin veel rohkem miksida ,aga unustasin töö käigus .


Meie lõnga poe kõige peenemaks osutus Wendy Supreme Cotton ,võinuks olla peenem ,aga ajas asja ära.

Valmis sai yllatavalt ruttu.u nädalaga (v6i oli see 2) ja nyyd hoog sees et teeks veel midagi...

Crochet motif bag.

I had enough of knitting and decided to crochet bag for myself.

There are 40 squares. Used 2skeins black and 1 white mercerised cotton yarn"Wendy supreme DK", hook 3mm.

For handles cotton string over crocheted with sc-s.
This is my bag! ;) I don't sell it. (unless you offer too much money of course! ;) )

Used mercerised cotton ,crochet hook 2,5mm( I could not find my 3mm hook;) ),pattern from deep bottom of Internet
(Unluckily I don't have anymore this pattern after PC crash. But you could Google Irish crochet lace pattern and make your own. ;)

You must make piece of blue jewelry using crochet ,macrame or knitting.

First thought was " I don't have anything blue to use"but after looking over my treasures found some blue cotton thread and some blue beads. It took only few hours !

I wanted to have blue necklace long time. Now I have it finally! ;)

Crochet Irish lace

Here is my this evening's work: crocheted cloves edging for white linen handkerchief.

crochet hook is soooooooooooooooooo tiny ,you almost can't see it.

It's 0.6 mm. Smallest available I think!

Thread is mercerised cotton 60.

I do this kind of work sometimes ,but could not make bedspread with sooooooooooooooooo tiny thread...

Absolutely honour old lace makers who did really great work with even finer thread!

By the end of last post I already had idea how must look my new cape!
Same evening designed pattern what has same shape as 'faroese shawl' but there are mixed three different leaf patterns. Now I have new problem ,have to buy luxurious yarn for it.
In local yarn shop caught my eye Louisa Harding's 'Grace' 50/50% wool(merino)/silk mix .....precious!(but pricey :( ). Have to go fishing to eBay! ;)
Afraid this project will be delayed until autumn because....

I was asked to knit lace shawl (for sale) decided to design new one .This time mixing four different patterns. Pattern will be available for public when knitted through.

But like always can't be patient and crocheted some flower pins this evening (for sale):
