Kitty Paw cowl ehk Kiisukäpa kaelus - juhend Ravelry's

Jätkuks naaritsalõnga loole olen nüüd lõpuks jõudnud ka juhendi avaldamiseni.
http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/kitty-paw-cowl

Temal ainult 1 mustrikordus ringil rohkem. Eks igaühe käekiri on erinev.

Pikemat varianti on võimalik ka pähe tõmmata.

Igatahes järgmise plaanin kududa juba DROPS Alpaca lõngast, mis hoiab piisavalt vormi, on mõnusalt karvane ja samas peen, ning annab talvel hästi sooja.

Võimalik tasuda ka ülekandega Eestisiseselt sellele arvele.
Kirjuta soovist mulle mailile ( lillysmuul ( ät ) yahoo.co.uk ), (lisades kviitungi) ja ma saadan juhendi vastu.

ENGLISH
Finally got my new lace design uploaded to Ravelry Store.
The cowl is inspired by Estonian lace patterns and my neighbour's lovely kitten.
Have you seen how cats walk on the wet grass?
Going step-by-step and shaking paws every now and then.
And beautiful dewdrops are shining in the morning sun...

Pattern will be available in English soon, chart only (but you really should learn how to knit charts! ;) )

Redesigned wooden Estonian juniper buttons

When new and beautiful DROPS Big Delight yarn came out, I fell deeply in love with it.

You just can't not to love it!
I bought the yarn to knit lovely cardigan, but like always - life goes his own way.
So I designed a vest.
I can't show it at the moment because decided to send it somewhere, may-be to some knitting magazine.
But I wanted to show you lovely buttons, I redesigned.
The yarn is called "Wild berries", so the wooden buttons is a must!
But I had only light ones (Estonian juniper, they smell great!)...
Creative mind doesn't frighten back and I came up with idea to stain them in black tea.
Well, it didn't work as well as I expected, but drop a food colouring did!
And here we are, beautiful buttons as I wanted!

DROPS ♥ You yarn

Hiljuti lasi Garnstudio välja uue "Limited edition" lõnga  DROPS ♥ You #2 . Koostises on 50% Alpaka, 40% Vill, 10% Lina - ja  100g tokis on 100 m. Eestis on see lõng saadaval Wool&Woollenis ja Rohelises vihmavarjus.
See on mõnusalt võrratu luksuslik lõng, milles on segatud kolme kiu parimad omadused: alpaka pehmus, villa vastupidavus ning lina annab robustse välimuse ja tviidiliku tekstuuri.
Kuna Mustrimaailma foorumis on parasjagu Dropsi "Celtica" kampsunile  oma kooskudumine, siis otsustasin sellest lõngast teha väikese proovika. (Õige värv on tegelt koopis tumedam ja nats lillakam. Väga ilus igatahes.)
Pildil siis varrukaotsa mansett:
DROPS ♥ You #2
Tulemus: nüüd tahaks lausa terve selle kampsu kududa...

******

Lately came out new "Limited edition" yarn DROPS ♥ You #2   from Garnstudio.
Content: 50% Alpaca, 40% Wool, 10% Linen and one ball is 100g = approx 100 meters.
A delicious luxury yarn is a combination of three of the finest fibres; Alpaca represents the softest of the soft, Wool makes the yarn more durable, and Linen provides an exciting rustic look and creates a tweed-like and fine texture.
Since I have in my knitting forum Mustrimaailm  KAL for DROPS "Celtica" cardigan for Estonian knitters, I decided to knit little swatch. (The yarns true color is a bit darker and warmer. Very pretty anyway! ;)
The yarn is soooo soft and delicious and feels like it's self knitting. ;)
The yarn is available to buy in these shops: http://www.garnstudio.com/countries.php?lang=us

Koeratüdruk Lotte.

Estonian cartoon.
Somewhere in Europe by a great sea stands a small village, where inventing all manner of domestic gadgets is held in great esteem. The villagers organize an annual competition of new inventions. One of the best inventors in the village is Oskar, the father of the energetic girl dog Lotte. His primary rival is Adalbert the Rabbit. Victory in this competition is very important as it would bring honor to the entire family.

My crocheted Lotte.

***
Eesti Joonisfilm peategelane, koeratüdruk Lotte elab koos oma sõprade kassipoeg Bruno ja jänesepoeg Albertiga suure mere ääres asuvas Leiutajatekülas. Igal aastal korraldavad külaelanikud uute leiutiste võistluse. Üks kuulsamaid leiutajaid külas on Lotte isa Oskar. Oskari peamiseks rivaaliks on jänes Adalbert. Järjekordse võistluse eelõhtul leiavad Lotte ja Bruno merest vettinud raamatu. Raamatu vahelt ronib välja mesilane Susumu, aednik ja judotreener kaugest Jaapanist...

Lacy leaf shawl.

When I first saw this pattern it was made as doily( table centerpiece).
Almost year later found it in Muhv's blog . She got tutorial from Estonian lace making course where she learned to knit world famous "Haapsalu sall" (click on pics to see bigger, also there is few words in English in bottom of page) .
The "nupp"(knit 5 from 1stitch,purl 5tog at next WS row) is also originally from Estonia as well.( I hope you knew that! ;))

This beautiful lace shawl is knitted from Estonian lace pattern with cobweb weight mohair yarn and 3.4mm knitting needles.
Looks adorable!

Already designed and started next one:
Lilly's Leaf Shawl pattern.
