Septembertuch shawl / knitted scarf in DROPS Delight

Lõngaks soovitasin pika värviüleminekuga DROPS Delight'i, mille värvidemänge on igale maitsele. Loomulikult võis igaüks valida omale meelepärase lõnga.
Mustriks valisin seekord sinkavonka kudumi, ehk muster on kolmes osas, igaüks kootakse eri suunas. Et ikka põnevam oleks. ;)

Beautiful shawl in DROPS Delight
Pildil on pool salli

I organised Secret KAL in my knitting forum Mustrimaailm.
To make it more fun I chose more complicated pattern where shawl is knitted in 3 parts and every part in different direction.
I just love how the colours of DROPS Delight play in this pattern.

My heaven e. minu kuninglikult sinine taevas

Nimelt, nagu te enamus juba teate, näidatakse me Kuduhullumaja õlasallide teemas linke järjest ilusamatele projektidele.

Millegi taevaliku kudumiseks....

My shawl is only 67grams can't say the yardage because I have huge cone of this yarn.

It's in chart only, no writen instructions (just few tips).

Difficulty level: Intermediate
It's available in English and eesti keeles.

Lacy leaf shawl.

When I first saw this pattern it was made as doily( table centerpiece).
Almost year later found it in Muhv's blog . She got tutorial from Estonian lace making course where she learned to knit world famous "Haapsalu sall" (click on pics to see bigger, also there is few words in English in bottom of page) .
The "nupp"(knit 5 from 1stitch,purl 5tog at next WS row) is also originally from Estonia as well.( I hope you knew that! ;))

This beautiful lace shawl is knitted from Estonian lace pattern with cobweb weight mohair yarn and 3.4mm knitting needles.
Looks adorable!

Already designed and started next one:

Swallowtail Shawl

It's time for handcrafts again!

Finished my third Swallowtail Shawl. Yarn used is Rowans kidsilk haze: 70%Super kid mohair30%silk; 25gr 210m, 2 skeins, needles 3.5mm.

I knit very loosely so it looks more like used 5mm needles. many people have trouble making nupps, specially knit 5tog,yeah if you knit tight it's almost impossible to do but no problem for me ;).

The first and third shawl look identical, for second one I bought yarn from Peru .

Lace weight yarn 100% merino, GORGEOUS yarn, super soft, look it yourself: http://www.100purewool.com/servlet/Categories?category=Merino+Lace+Weight
This pattern is amazingly easy going. You just sit down and start knitting and it seems the needles run by themselfs. You just have to stop them for a moment when pattern changes...;)
